This week, evdb started it’s public beta test. It stands for Events and Venues Database. Event-Communites seems to be the next big thing. You can share your events online or add other events to your calender, that you can publish on your blog. Even evdb is still beta, I allready like it. I ever wanted to create an easy to maintain calender on my blog to display upcoming events. This service makes it possible to create one. You can create public and private calendars to store youre events. You can search for other events and it is possible to create smart calendars. Based on your preferences, the system „plans“ your calendar if it finds events, that matches your criterias. Nice idea! This service is, by the way, supported by Evan Williams, the founder of Blogger.com.
This service is a proove, that bloggers aren’t sitting in front of their computers all day 😉
